Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil in the year of 1974. From an early age he begins to travel with his family by moving to Mexico city in the mid 70's. He takes studies at the Escuela Activa de Fotografia and realizes to be a deviant student, and after finishing the course, he commences work in the television industry in the special effects department. He leaves this job to migrate to Japan and to become part of the labour force that this country needs during the peak of the economic bubble; because of his Japanese background, he is allowed to become a resident of this country. He ventures back to his homeland Brazil to work as a photographer, however, after not finding many opportunities, he returns to Mexico.
During this period of exploration and finding his grounds, he takes several courses at El Centro de la Imagen with prestigious photographers like Paolo Pellegrin, Maya Goded, Charles Harbutt amongst others that bring invaluable information into his portfolio.

In the year 2000 he starts his professional career first as a freelance for the Expansion Publishing Group photographing editorial issues,and the following year he joins the staff of Reforma Newspaper. After four years of photojournalism, he finds his way through a new path in his career as a photographer for the special issues of the newly reestructured Excelsior Newspaper.
