Vanessa studied fine art at Chelsea College of Art, Central St Martin's and the Slade School of Art in London before embarking upon a career in journalism that took her from northern Iraq to Turkey, around the world, and finally to Mexico. Former editor-in-chief of Time Out Istanbul, Vanessa switched to the fly-by-night lifestyle of a freelancer upon moving to Mexico City where she currently contributes images and text to Esquire and National Geographic Traveler magazines. Other work has appeared in The Guardian and Observer papers in the UK, City magazine in the US, Life & Style and The News in Mexico, as well as in Time Out travel guides to Istanbul and Mexico City. Her first authored guide book, produced for Insight Guides' Step By Step series, has been published in 2009. Exhibitions of Vanessa's artwork have taken place in London, Paris, Cardiff, Belgrade and Pittsburgh. In 2004, she was presented with the prestigious Becks Student Film and Video Award at the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London.

Adolfo Doring
Mexican filmmaker who lives and works in the United States. His tool of expression has been through film and photography since he was 13 years old. His most recent documentary Blind Spot (blind) will be displayed on the DOCS City in October 2009 in Mexico City. Doring came to New York City in the mid-eighties to study Sociology at Columbia University, then interned for Rock and Roll photographer Joel Brodsky.
Doring began his film career in middle school when he started using Super 8 film to make small documentaries as a way to avoid term papers. The combination of his photographic skills and well developed understanding of cinematic language led him to an early career in cinematography. Adolfo was Director of Photography for the classic Grunge music videos for Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Screaming Trees, Stone Temple Pilots, while also flying back east to work in the hip hop world (Public Enemy, LL Cool J, Naz, Redman).
Doring's first directing job for Atlantic Records was for heavy metal group Testament. It led to direct music videos for artists including Sting, Savage Garden, Bon Jovi, Vanessa Mae, Hootie and the Blowfish, Gin Blossoms, The Dixie Chicks, Diana Krall and Del Amitri amongst others. In 1994 Doring won an MTV Video Music Award for the Hootie and the Blowfish single, "Hold My Hand", and directed the video for the band's next single, "Let Her Cry", which was that year's most played video. He was nominated by the MVPA for Best Country Video for The Dixie Chicks' "When You Were Mine"
Dante Busquets
Born in Mexico City in 1969, studied Fine Arts Bachelor of Photography at the San Francisco Art Institute with Artists: Pirkle Jones, Jack Fulton and Louie Reagan, among others. Took several workshops conducted by Armando Cristeto, Susan Meiselas, Abbas, Joseph Rodriguez, Cristian Caujolle and Heidi Specker.
He served as a correspondent in Mexico for Getty Images News Service (formerly Gamma-Liaison). Currently representing the Photo agency Anzenberger, his work has been published in books, magazines, national and international newspapers: 160 Years of Photography in Mexico, ABC DF, México City: Six walks photographic Narrative of a Portrait: Korda of Che, TheEndless City, Arquine, Businessweek, Celeste, Cigar Aficionado, Codigo 06140, Details, df by Travesías, Forbes, LA Weekly, L'Express, The AngelesTimes, M Museum of Mexico and the world, Marvin, Memoria de Papel, Milenio, National Geographic, Neo2, Newsweek , Picnic, Process, Reforma, SPIN, The San Francisco Examiner, Time, and WOW Travesías, among others.
It had the still photography under his wing in several film productions, including: Una de Dos (Marcel Sisniega 2000), El Tigre de Santa Julia (Gamboa2001 Alejandro), Casa de los Babys (John Sayles 2002), Morirse esta en Hebreo (AlejandroSpringall 2005) and Carnaval de Sodoma(Arturo Ripstein, 2005).
Individual Expos in Orchid Bistro, La casa de la Primera Imprenta and the American Cultural Center Coyoacanense in the City From igualmanera, has participated in more than 25 collective exhibitions in Germany, China, Spain, USA, England, Italy, Netherlands, Mexico and Turkey, among others. His project Diario DeAntes won the scholarship JóvenesCreadores National Fund for Culture and the Arts.
He has participated in several editions of the Biennale of Photography in Mexico. He was selected in the 1994 and 2002 editions, received an Honorable Mention in 1997 and in 2006 Acquisition XII Photography Biennial with the project Sateluco, where families and photograph different areas of the State of Mexico.

Walter Shintani
Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil in the year of 1974. From an early age he begins to travel with his family by moving to Mexico city in the mid 70's. He takes studies at the Escuela Activa de Fotografia and realizes to be a deviant student, and after finishing the course, he commences work in the television industry in the special effects department. He leaves this job to migrate to Japan and to become part of the labour force that this country needs during the peak of the economic bubble; because of his Japanese background, he is allowed to become a resident of this country. He ventures back to his homeland Brazil to work as a photographer, however, after not finding many opportunities, he returns to Mexico.
During this period of exploration and finding his grounds, he takes several courses at El Centro de la Imagen with prestigious photographers like Paolo Pellegrin, Maya Goded, Charles Harbutt amongst others that bring invaluable information into his portfolio.

In the year 2000 he starts his professional career first as a freelance for the Expansion Publishing Group photographing editorial issues,and the following year he joins the staff of Reforma Newspaper. After four years of photojournalism, he finds his way through a new path in his career as a photographer for the special issues of the newly reestructured Excelsior Newspaper.
Jacobo Braun
Born in Mexico City in 1971, studied at the Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara California, moved to Los Angeles where he worked as a freelance shooting celebrity portraits for Semana magazine, teacher of the latino community in Hollywood Ca. Returning to Mexico as a photo colaborator with artists like, Miguel Calderón, Fernando Ortega and Joshua Okon. Worked in Ed. Televisa, then in breaking news at Reforma newspaper .
His experience as photo editor begins in the newspaper Excelsior, and continuing with Time inc Mexico in Life and Style magazine, Audi, Ambientes and Chornos. He published a project about Kosovo before its independence. Investigative reports in Pristina, Kosovo (2008).Essay on Mexican Migration to USA (Tijuana BC), portraits of a group of Holocaust survivors (Mexico DF), recently he has worked as a fixer with PLAYBOY INC and Christopher Anderson (Magnum Photos) and Joe Readle (Getty Images). Present professor at the Universidad del Claustro de Sor Juana.
Ignacio Galar
(Mexico 1977) from Mexico City; studied a degree in Political Science at the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico and photography studies at the International Center of Photography in New York and the American School of Photography in Mexico City. His work as a photographer has been developed in both advertising and editorial companies has published in major newspapers such as Excelsior, Reforma, Grupo Editorial Expansion, and El Financiero. As well as in fashion magazines, portraits and food photography. During 2004 spent a year in Buenos Aires as a Stringer for Reuters and Bloomberg, after his return to Mexico City, he did marketing and travel journalism, publishing stories written and photographic journals such as: Finance Executives , OBS, Vuelo. Currently developing projects in video and multimedia documentaries such as "Professor Solar" (Short, 23 minutes), "Amaya LTD" (short 15 minutes).
